What is Marriotts Ridge?

Marriotts Ridge is a Howard County ( HoCo ) school. The students aren't stuck up because they are privileged, smart and rich. It's not their fault that their parents cared about their future and made a good living for themselves. People shouldn't complain that the Ridge is stuck up because our sports teams and music and drama programs are better than theirs after only 4 years of existance. The Mustang is the mascot and the school colors are blue and silver and white. If you are going to be mad at anyone, be mad at River Hill, they are also privileged, but they get students who should go to other Howard County Schools, but don't. When you go to a school that is different from the rest of your district, you are not allowed to compete in sports, because then schools would start recruiting kids, but somehow, there are still students at River Hill, who don't belong there, but compete in sports. Fair? You decide.
Laura: Marriotts Ridge is a nice school. They are so talented at lots of different things.
Erika: They are. The Mustangs do well in sports, band AND drama. That's a lot of activities happening!
Laura: It is! Most of the students there get good grades and are pretty nice.
Erika: Yeah, usually that's not the case with rich and new schools, usually they are rude and terrible at sports.
Laura: I wish I went to Marriotts Ridge, maybe I would be better at life...
