The act of grabbing someones throat with one hand and attempting to throw them onto the ground on an act of anger. Typically done as an act of revenge.

While a couple were waiting for a cab, a man jumped in front of them in the line and took their cab. The man that had been wronged opened the cab door, crabbed the man by the throat, dragged him out of the cab and threw him on the street. They then got in the cab and drove off.

If one was to issue a Mascot throat grab while holding a cigarette between his/her fingers it would become a "smokey throat grab"
