Pronounced muh-crih-rik, this versatile word was inspired by the phenomenal laziness of horse racing pundit John McCririck. It takes many forms and is used to convey an act of extreme slobbery, laziness etc, usually with the implication that the subject has stayed in bed all day; its antithesis is words such as activeand energetic.
