A beautiful looking, sounding, and controlling game which is torn to shreds by its outdated and downright boring gameplay. The only enjoyable level of this game seemed to be the first - the majority of the game is otherwise plagued by unoriginality and a lack of realism.
The lack of gameplay detail and impressive programming is completely unexpected from an acclaimed enterprise such as Electronic Arts - one of the most annoying is the lack of strategy. While in most wargames, if you shoot a soldier in the leg they will either fall or be weakened - but here, they'll chase you like there's no tomorrow. The AI is also horribly done and not believable to the smallest degree.
To top it off, it rides on zero replay value - the game will last you no longer than the 7 day rental, guaranteed.
Kretch put it best - "Starts out with a bang, which was the sound of “realism” being shot dead…"
Medal of Honor, game of choice by 'sony roolz' (further proving his lack of taste).
