Mellowdrone is a refreshing emerging band from Los Angeles. Lead singer and brainchild, Bates, is backed up by an incredible lineup of musicians. Tony deMatteo on rhythym guitar, Greg Griffiths on bass and backup vocals, and the well-seasoned Scott Ellis on drums. Their sound, comparable to the most prestiged pop-rock bands, is not unlike British-independent rock sound. It's al excellent shit. Check them out at mellowdrone
