What is Mellybug?

A parasite that, in textbook terms, is a small cream-colored insect that survives by feeding off plants causing their leaves to drop off at the stem. Slowly sucking the life out of it. Correctly spelled, Mealybug.

My plant had to be dowsed in pesticide to kill all the Mealybugs.
