What is Memento?
1.
An excellent film about a man who suffers from a condition where he can't make new memories. With a memory that constantly fades, he struggles to discover the one responsible for raping and murdering his wife and putting him in this condition. He gathers clues in Polaroid photos and tattoos; each one bringing him closer to the truth.
The unique style and complex plot is what makes this film a masterpiece. It is down backwards, making the viewer experience that same type of confusion that the main character feels.
It is practically impossible to understand this film by watching it only once. You may have to see it 3 or 4 times to figure it all out. But that's what makes it so good. Each scene is a piece of a puzzle and you have to figure it out as you watch.
Never before has their been such a great mystery/suspense film. If you haven't seen it and you like that kinda stuff. You are missing out!
"So what am I doing? Looks like I'm chasing this guy...no, wait... He's chasing me!"
