Mal Meninga's younger brother Bevan was convicted for killing his girlfriend on the Gold Coast in Australia. In his defence he said he was so drunk that he didn't know what he was doing. The term "meninged" refers to being so drunk you don't know what you are doing.

Let's go to a nightclub and get "meninged". He was so "meninged" he couldn't stand up.
