What is Mernel?

A mernel is a hybrid plant consisting of the body of a sunflower and leaves of cornstalks. Also has the face of a human surrounding by a jubilee of colorful petals. Weaknesses include Sun Chips (level 1-10 mern) and Kevin Costner (arch nemesis of all mern).
