What is Messfest?

a term originating in the Hudson Valley namely the West Point area. This term is used to describe nights and days of heavy drinking. A messfest will include multiple people and drinking of dirty thirties since money needs to be spread for the duration of the festival. A messfest will typically last 5-7 days.
john: "Hey man, let's have messfest soon. I want to drink myself retarded."
