What is Meteal?

1. Created in 2002 by a group of 6th graders from a small town in upstate New York, the word meteal embodies awesomeness,ridiculosity, and the American Way. Simply put, if something is described as being meteal, that thing is elevated beyond mortal status and into the plane of the gods.

2. A clever amalgam of the words "metal" and "teal". Often used to describe batons used in track and field events.
