Derived from the LAPD's Metropolitan Division (SWAT, K-9, Bomb Squad, Etc.) as the "tuxedo" the personnel uses that consists of tactical pants, a white t-shirt, and a ballistic (bulletproof) vest.
The swat team wore their metro tuxes to the bar after a long hostage standoff.
