What is Metsfail?

When the New York Mets blow a game they should have won with poor defensive play and lack of clutch hitting. Also applies to choking at the end of the season, similar to their historical chokes in the 2007 and 2008 seasons.
This word originated during the 5/18/09 game against the Los Angeles Dodgers when they committed 5 errors and several baserunning mistakes to give the game away in the 11th inning.
And the Phillies regain first in the NL East with yet another Metsfail!
