What is Mexitone?

1.

(n) The tone quality achieved by playing the saxophone with one or more of the following conditions: taking as much of the mouthpiece into the mouth as possible; the mouthpiece pushed all the way in over the cork, playing on a reed that is chipped, very worn out, and possibly plastic; using a horn position of an extremely acute angle.
