As of this writing (February 2004) Jackson is embroiled in a bitter lawsuit brought by the family of an adolescent boy who alleges that Jackson engaged in sexual misconduct with the boy while he partook in unchaperoned sleepovers at Jackson's home. This is the second time that criminal charges have been brought against Jackson on charges of pedophilia. The first case was settled out of court for an undisclosed sum of money.
