A generally written form of correspondence in which the length of the message and/or the time required to compose it is greatly abbreviated compared to traditional methods of communication (e.g. written letters sent via postal mail). Microcorrespondence is generally electronic in nature and may or may not be addressed to more than one recipient at a time.
