Noun. 1. An urgent, extremely uncomfortable diarrhea attack that happens in the middle of the night, usually resulting from a night of drinking and Mexican food. 2. Waking up in the middle of the night to make a painful bowel movement. Inspired by the CCR hit song of the same name.

I didn't sleep well last night, I had a visit from the Midnight Special.
