What is Mining Engineer?

noun: a person that goes to school to work in a certain field of expertise pertaining to mining. Generally with a minor or an emphasis in explosives or things that go boom. It is not a very dangerous field, despite constantly working with explosives. Studies show that majorly almost 85% of mining engineer majors are pyromaniacs or enjoy destroying things in some manner.
