According to C. "Roast Beef" Kazenzakis of Achewood fame (achewood), the Minnesota Timeline is when you see the same lady in two completely different internet photo sets and you notice that she has the same shoes on. Presumably, this could apply to videos as well.
Instances of the Minnesota Timeline were fairly rare prior to the advent of internet connectivity and the mass of pornography sites it brought with it.
