MIRV stands for Mutiple Independent Re-entry Vehicles.
Usualy armed with nuclear warheads that are launched from a single missle that once in space, split into 6, 12, warheads that decend back to Earth and go to independent targets at once.
The American government launched a MIRV missle at China destroying 11 cities and one village.
