Missed opporunity due to a number of reasons, such as, She wasn't interested and wasn't about to make it happen, Your planning included being overall negligent, and not on top of your game, or simply you were being lazy and did not show up on time. Usually indicates that the 'missed opportunity' slid into the past and does not warrant looking back.
