Verb usually used in the context of the change in audio emittance, multiple tone change, multiple volume change or both, of a moan ( a deepseated primal sound (but not a primal scream) of low decibel but lots of base).
As the "gentleman" was multi tasking in the men's room stall, the security system registered the moanage.
