What is Mockortunity?

A fake opportunity usually used by a supervisor as a means to get you to do something extra with minimal chance of any real benefit.
My boss told me that she had a terrific opportunity for me that would enhance my career. After she told me about it though, it sounded more like a mockortunity to me.
