What is Mofette?

A Mofette likes pink things, dancing and snakebite and black. They normally grow in Staffordshire or Warrington, but have been found as far north as Leeds.
A Mofette is not:
An airport
A volcanic vent
A fork-lift truck
We met Mofette by chance and took her out for pie and chips. And beer.
