What is Mohick?

A person who lives and works or goes to school in a rural area. This word should not be confused with redneck. A mohick is not necessarily a redneck, but can be. This person may originally be from a big city but is now residing in the country. This person may be well educated and previously exposed to diverse cultural activities but now find themselves living "in the middle of nowhere,"
surrounded by other mohicks.
All my friends in north Georgia are mohicks.
