An abundance of feelings and mood changes exploding through the soil (of a farmland to remain nameless) at once in the form of a giant ear, complete with lobe. In most cases the Moodcrop is heard, more than seen, and in such cases, makes innocent bystanders spin in circles, turn green, and shoot off to the moon.

Billy turned to his left and saw a giant Moodcrop protruding through the soil, then proceeeded to shake and utter words of hope, then despair, backwards in perfect hailku format (and yes, he then spun in a circle, turned green, and shot off to the moon).
