Morphine Transdermal Patch. A medication that is an opioid analgesic (narcotic pain-reliever) in an extended-release patch that is applied to the skin. The medication enters your system through the skin, released slowly and regularly over a period of three days. It is specifically designed for use in management of chronic pain, providing a more constant blood level of the active ingredient than immediate-release formulations.
