(even though I LOVE MTV). MTVing is when one bullshits and says they'll do something (i.e. someone who claims to work at a pizza store), but what they really do is NOTHING near what you thought (i.e. somewho works at the pizza store, but they are really a taxidermist).
"I booked a flight to Paris, but those fuckers took me to Canada... they were SO MTVing me!" (that really happened to me)
