What is Muert?

Sound of irritation, or sarcasm during a moment of awkward silence. Usually after a bad joke. The sound is not spoken, but shrieked or belched in a high pitch tone. More convincing with head erect and used loudly and repeatedly. Muerts are personalized, and the sound can vary from the individual.
"What time to you go to the dentist? Tooth O'Clock."
