What is Multispective?


1.

Contraction for "multiple perspectives".

(1) Can be used to communicate the physical recording of an object or space from different angles.

(2) A way to use empathy to understand. A process where an individual not only considers an idea or situation from his or her own perspective but attempts to simulate the understandings of other individuals.

Example:

(1) The medical device uses multispective scanning in order to capture the object from multiple perspectives.

(2) The student used a multispective process to understand the concept from different perspectives; including those of another generation, another region, and another discipline.
