What is Mungidemic?

An occurrence in which there is a tremendous breakout in mungings in a city or metropolis. Causes of mungidemics can range from a fad in which it is cool to mung, a food recommendation made by a well-known chef such as Martha Stewart, or simply a large influx of communism. Effects of mungidemics are empty cemeteries, and empty morgues. Fewer funerals (as bodies are just munged instead of buried then dug up), and in some instances empty nursing homes. Overall there is a massive downturn in the population of people over the age of 60.
