Mustang Mach 1 Edit Meaning

A special edition of the FordMustang produced in 4 different body stlyes through the years. Usually marketed as a performance edition with unique engine choices and exterior trim. First available in 1969 with a 428 Cobra Jet motor with either a shaker ram air intake or a fixed hood scoop. This was carried over to 1970 with minor exterior changes. The Mach 1 continued for 1971-1973 on the new Torino based body. With the arrival of the Mustang II came the V6 equipped Mach 1. The final version of the Mach 1 was available in 2003-2004 with a Unique 4.6L DOHC motor based off of a modified, non-supercharged Cobra motor.
