Narco-nap

What is Narco-nap?

1.

Prefix: "narco-" meaning numbness, stupor, or lethargy

Root word: "nap" meaning ummm... nap.

I use this term when referring to someone who has narcolepsy (me) who takes a quick, daytime nap due to the overwhelming need to sleep induced by the disorder.

EXAMPLE:

I keep a couple of blankets in the back of my car so if I need to take a narco-nap in the middle of the day I can jump in the back seat and be good as new in 15 minutes.

See narco, nap, narco-nap, narcolepsy
