What is Narsid?
1.
Non-Avalanche Related Snow Immersion Death; victims suffocate and/or asphyxiate themselves after falling either into a conifer tree well or into a deep snowbank.
this definition is a little sketchy as you can also use the term NARSI for any incident involving tree wells or deep snowbank immersion without death
"after many years of back country shredding, he met his end in a tragic NARSID, mere feet from the bunny hill"
