(to pump)- a term describing the state of one's fist as it is moved frantically in an up-and-down motion by one who is in a fit of excitement; typically as a result of substantial intoxication or the influence of other uncontrolled substances. Occurs primarily in nightclubs and while dancing, demonstrating a feeling of intense enjoyment and indulgence in the immediate atmosphere.
