The lead singer of the country band the Dixie Chicks. She is married to the actor Adrian Pasdarand they have two children. She caused major controversy when she critisized George Bush in a concert. She recieved death threats and the bands albums were destroyed - despite this she and her bandmates (sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Robison) remain true to their beliefs of freedom of speech.

Natalie Maines and the Dixie Chicks are amazing.
