What is National Honor Society?

An organization for the dregs of society (aka high school) to make them feel good about themselves for once in their lives because they'll never do anything worthwhile ever again. Getting in requires no real talent, but simply wasting your time doing service that you don't really care about is the best way to assure membership. Those who have an iota of genuine decency usually don't get in , feel bad about themselves, but realize its better off not being associated with the idiots who did.
-I didn't get into the National Honor Society.
-Oh, so then you must be a decent, intelligent human being.
-I got into Honor Society! Changing diapers at the hospital sure paid off!
