What is Neers?
Originating in Letchworth, Herts, a bastardisation of the word 'cheers', intended to convey a sense of exasperation or mild annoyance. Often said with exaggerated 'eeee' sound.
'You need to sort your hair out, it looks like a monkey's arse'
