Characteristics often include an overabundance of 10 year olds, excessive work for minimal rewards, overly cute characters, excessive hype, and a BBS shat out from the bowels of hell itself. Named after the popular RPG site, neopets.

Ragnarok Online suffers greatly from the Neopets Syndrome.
