What is Nerd Period?

That time of the month when you feel particularly nerdy. Often characterized by sudden emotional outbreaks of nerdiness and demands for unreasonable amounts of certain video games or music. No nasty bodily functions involved; a possible exception of less showering may occur, however.
Person 1:
"I think I am on my nerd period.... I played Goldeneye for like 25 hours yesterday, and there aren't even 25 hours in a day. How is that even possible.. with except... maybe... holy shit... person 2! do you know what this means?! I have accidentally slipped into the Starbucks time continuum..and... and......"
