Pleasuring one's self with knowledge; usually with assistance from a textbook, pencil, calculator,and/or pocket protector.
John got a detention when his physics teacher caught him nerding-off in the bathroom in the chapter on quantum mechanics. This was the first sexual assault of a physics book ever recorded.
