What is Netherscape?

The realm that is inside of cyberspace but outside of the normaly traveled space. In a 3d world,The Netherscape exists on the other side of the wall.
I found the glitch in the corner of the dungeon, and found myself in the Netherscape. From there, the rest of the level was a cakewalk.
