Newfield's Rule

What is Newfield's Rule?

1.

In backgammon, when a game is played to the last roll, the looser can be given the opportunity to roll matching dice, and if the looser actually really matches the winner's last roll, the looser becomes the winner! this type of winning game is said to be won by "Newfield" or by "Newfield's Rule."

the game is down to the last roll and...

"Six and a four," I win.

Dude, not so fast. Six and a four? Alright...

(looser rolls the dice...)

"SIX AND FOUR. SIXTY FOUR. FOURTY FUCKING SIX!!" Yeah, taste that bi-atch.

"Tastes like cold chicken soup straight from the can!"

Say it. Say it. Say it now...SIX AND A FOUR."

"Shut it, buddy. I hate losing by Newfield's Rule. Now sit yer diaper-end down and gimme a rematch..."

"Now that's a Newfield! Shwoo."
