What is Newport Ball?

An annual formal event at the Harvard Business School, meant to emphasize and celebrate the social climbing character, WASP-ishness, the desire for affluence and elitism of the School's students through a live reenactment of the life of the ultra-rich (but with cheaper props).

I'm not confident I'm trying hard enough to be exactly like those successful HBS gards who made Wall Street what it is today. I have to go to Newport Ball to improve my social acceptance score.
