What is Newporter?

Someone who has lived in Newport their whole life and has family roots here. Thay hate to leave the island, and when they do its a "road trip". Their summers are spent working on the water, going to the beach, outside parties, and making fun of stupid tourists.
James:Were going to Boston today.
Sam:Are you serious, we have to leave the island?
