Term serves as a sarcastically gentile but overtly disrespectful exclamation of disgust often to belittle or disparage a person or their ideas, words or actions.
Originally used to bully but now more commonly heard in jest as a put-down.
The term, 'nigger' still cleary denotes scorn and disrespect as well as artificially establishes a caste differential i.e. master v. slave, dominance v. submission.

Allegedly a "cordial" declaration of: 'gimme a break', 'pardon me', 'cut me some slack', 'the shit's gettin' deep', 'get real' or "shutup!" but with the universally offensive and thus disqualifying noun. "Nigger", although formerly a racial epiteph is commonly used intra-racially by young blacks; and, in any circumstance is still seen as a brazen, disrespectful slur -- even in play. (And thus it is almost never used inter-racially.)
