A concept similar to outsourcing, but differs in that a companyhiresindividuals who are currently resident in the company's country; particularly pertains to the American use of the IRSW-9 (W-Nine) Contractorform, hence the name. Such a concept allows work to be performed under de facto minimum wage, and can result in less-than-optimalservices.

I have a feeling that the guy I talked to about setting up my Internetservice was a product of ninesourcing... he totally didn't know what he was talking about and told me to plug the Ethernetcord right into the DSLmodem's phone jack!
