What is Nob Hill?

Famous neighborhood in San Francisco (often called the center/heart of SF, but actually the North-East corner) surrounded by California, Pacific, Powell, and Hyde streets (because of the Cable Car lines that outline it). Surrounding neigborhoods are: the Tenderloin, Russian Hill, Chinatown, the Embarcadero, Pacific Heights, North Beach, Telegraph Hill, and Fisherman's Wharf. Bus lines through Nob Hill: 1 California and 12 Fillmore. Cable Cars: Powell-Mason and Powell-Hyde lines and California Line.

Many of the foremost hotels grace Nob Hill (the Fairmont, the Mark-Hopkins, and the Huntington Hotel) along with Grace Cathedral and Huntington Park.
