The state or quality of being full of nodes(node=knob or swelling); knobiness.
As Mrs Dovetonsils called upon Megnao to complete the conjugation of the Latin verb "to love", she started off "Amo, Amas, Amat...", standing up, he began, "Amomus, Amamas, Amant..." and felt a stirring in his loins...a nodosity, as he pondered the archaic meaning of conjugation.
