What is No-shave-ember?

A holiday which lasts the entire month of November. To observe it, one does not shave for the entire month.
Most commonly observed by college students.
A: "Dude, you're looking kinda beastly. Why don't you shave?"
B: "Sorry, man, no can do. There are still two weeks left in No-shave-ember."
